    Hilarity & Quirky Fun!

    I loved this movie, and have actually planned to see it again this week because I missed parts where I laughed too long and too hard! It's not your average mainstream comedy, so that made it more appealing to me. I also loved Scotland, PA & Napoleon Dynamite, and I consider this film in that quirky-movie category. It does have a few slow spots, but what movie doesn't? I thought Jenna Fischer (The Office) did an awesome job, I think we'll see her in more comedies. Really, all of the acting was stupendous. I loved the cameo by Jason Bateman, and some of the other cast members from The Office too. Oh, and the music ~ perfect for this! Pay attention, it's so appropriate.

    Adults only for this movie, as there is some potty-mouth, but it is not overdone and really only used when absolutely necessary for hilarious effect!

    The Promo-shunned

    This movie was a super solid MEH. Considering the stellar cast, I was hoping for so much more but this movie pretty much had maybe 2-3 laugh out loud moments tops (definitely the "black apples" part) so I would have to say this is a DVD rental if even that. Sorry, but this movie really really could have (SHOULD HAVE) been so much better.

    A Very Human Story!

    I loved this 'little movie' that just hits the right note on so many aspects of human life, and how regular people deal with it every day! John C, Riley is of course spot on, just his perfect genre, Seann William Scott lets the emotions flit across his face so we know what he is thinking, but what will he decide? Director Steven Conrad can chalk one up as a winner! This is limited distribution so put it on your DVD list. It will not appeal to everybody, not the mainstream crowd, two guys working as assistant managers in a supermarket vie for the big job in the brand new supermarket to open soon. They are both decent but competition brings out the worst in the best people, who desperately need the money! Lots of Humor and down to earth everyday life! Go!
