I love this movie; it has what tends to draw me in to my favorite movies which are the characters. They're so memorable and great to watch, having great chemistry with each other and I don't think one tended to overshadow the others. But people should see this movie for more than just having great characters; there's so many great lines in the movie, although one in particular sticks out. The movie even managed to work in a wrestler without making him look bad. He actually did pretty good in his role. And lastly, one should see the movie that has by far THE MOST EPIC SCREAM EVER GIVEN IN A MOVIE. Superman is a close 2nd.
Rob Reiner's Finest Directoral Accomplishment
This is my favorite movie of all time. It is amazing who will quote this movie. I always get a kick out of seeing grown men saying "you killed my father, prepare to die." My favorite quote is at the top of the cliffs of insanity when he says, "you keep using that word, I do not think it means what you think it means." I don't know why. I have seen this many times... it is a good lazy weekend movie to pop in. And, my daughter is sure that RUSs really exist.
OK OK... so I may be the only person left in the world who has not seen this movie but my local theater played it as a flash back film and I decided to go see it. Even my boyfriend loves this movie. I absolutely loved it and I laughed so much. It was one of those movies that you just don't want to end. I highly recommend it.
This movie is never far from my brain. I and most of the people I know have seen it and quote it's many memorable lines constantly. I was watching Shakespeare and quoting this movie. Get it. Get it now.Oh.. and "Have fun storming the castle...."
