This movie is more than a lot of people give it credit for. Woody Harrelson is always amazing and Courtney Love is surprisingly talented in this film. The movie feels like a throwback at every second. The plot keeps running along and there is never a dull moment. Just don't watch it with the kids.

Hidden Message in Film?

Great performance on such a raw subject. Larry Flint often speaks of "Playboy" in this movie. In one scene he openly states, "We need to move were perverts are welcomed." The next shot in the "Hollywood" sign across the mountains. Shortly after this Larry Flint is standing right on the "Bill Cosby" star on Hollywoods Walk of Fame sidewalk. Larry Flintis is shown to have his own sources. This could have been just another fluke.
