It was extremely inspiring movie it was funny and and sad and happy!
you kind of know what is about to happen when his leaves start to fall off
but you lose it when he's gone.
so i think it was a great movie all in all and you have to see it!

This movie was very heartwarming. My daughter and I went to see it and we laughed and cried, and cheered. It is really a good movie for a Mom and daughter to see. I will probably buy it when it becomes available.

A couple that has had trouble to having a child decide to adopt. In order to convince the government officials, they tell this incredible tale of a boy who came to them after they spent a night pretending they had a child and celebrated his achievements. It's really quite depressing at times, but I felt myself uplifted regularly and have fun watching the story unfold.

Non-antimated movies appropriate for children are rare these days. A 70 and a 62 year old took an 11 and 12 year old. All four of us, including the males, cried at the ending, even though we knew what was coming. It was nice (after drying my tears) to be able to point out there was a moral to the story - how long you live is not as important as how many lives you touch along the way. A good lesson to be learned by us all.

The premise I thought was interesting and I was ready for it to be chock full of sentimentality. The main characters were likable enough but they lacked depth and complexity that would have forced the audience to ask some of the harder questions about acceptance and respect.
