Good movie, took my four year old daughter to see it yesterday. I thought the plot was interesting and it held her attention. There were some low points but still an overall good film. One point of critique, the best kids movies typically have music and dancing, this one did not, hence the low points.
Point in case, one of the most engaging parts was the ending during the credits with the music and dancing.

Standard kids fare but tolerable for adults. Animation quality excellent. Voice talent of Liam Neesen. No really scary or sad parts so tiny ones might enjoy. Best part of the movie for my 4 yr old was the ending credits done with Gangnam style music and animation. He danced in the aisles.

Although the other reviews I saw on this site before I bought my ticket were negative, I enjoyed the movie. The one thing I disliked were the voice overs. They sounded too adult or something. But I liked the story line and the ending very much.

It was a fun kids movie, not the best kids movie we have seen lately but it kept our childrens' attention and we saw it at a dinein theater where the food was great.

I am never fond of when bad is okay. The movie had you pick sides based on who should be more justified to have bad behavior. The three sources of bad behavior, it was difficult to detect who was the bad guy until the story line tells you. With all bad choices comes the fallout to innocent victim(s). The story required a great deal of manipulation in the story to create these bad guys. So the next question...what age group was the target audience. Too complication for small children (and unsettling tragedy), still a lot of questions by the older children (and bad lesson), and humorous to boring for teens. Animal characters are full of personality. Cute complicated love story, Not any more tragic than most animated movies.
