I cant believe they took one of the most delightful stories of the holiday season, and peppered it with nazi metaphors, dark "Auschwitz-like" scenes, concentration camp look a likes, and yes a crematorium for dead dolls. Nathan Lane and John Turtorro should be ashamed....
Let the Russian financiers go show this movie in Russia and take it off the screens here....

There is no reason why this movie is 3D.
The Rats had kids crying in the movie theatre. Parents were leaving with kids.
The Nazi overtones were a shameful distortion of the original.
The smoke stacks, blackening out the sky? more alluding to the Nazi's.
The pileing of toys in the center square with "toys" being torn from children's arms was disgusting.
This is not a family, holiday classic.
Do not go!

VERY DISAPOINTING AS A 3D MOVIE, PAID TWICE THE NORMAL PRICE AND THE MOVIE HAD VIRTUALLY "NO" 3D EFFECTS - WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANY
ONE UNDER 10 OR OVER 12.
THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A KIDS STORY BUT THE RATS WERE SCARY AND MY GRAND DAUGHTER HAD NITEMARES THE NIGHT WE SAW IT.
I GIVE IT A 2 OUT OF 5.

Promised my niece we would go without looking into it. Mistake! terrible rendtiion and not worth 3d price. Like anything else, when it first comes out,it's awesome and everything gets put into it. Then people are hooked and they take the quality out. Nothing lately that has been '3D; has used it near enough to justify the price!

Nutcracker 3D... that said enough for me to want to be tricked into watching the trailer and then convinced into going.... unfortunately, the entire movie was a flop. To add, the movie did not capitalize in using the 3D effects into a bigger "WOW" effect. Over all, story was weak, boring and dragged...my five year old son was not a fan. Wait to rent it IF you feel the curiosity to want to watch this flop...
