This is one of the best movie events I ever went to! This was definitely worth the price of admission. Also :'(

WOW! - Five Stars for Our Stars...

I have no complaints, whatsoever. I don't think that a better book to screen adaption of this particular book could have been made. I think they nailed it, hands down. As a HUGE fan of the book - I think that's high praise. I think the price of the movie/screening/simulcast was a little steep - but I was willing to pay it in order to see the cast, John Green and the director and producer all together - and they were all great - genuine and sincere in their passion for the movie. The musical performances by Birdy and Nat were great. The interview was rushed and Alton Brown, was not a great moderator/host - very obnoxious and not at all warm to the cast and crew. So, I give the movie itself - 5/5 stars, The Night Before Our Stars Event 3/5 stars.

Upon seeing The Fault in Our Stars during The Night Before Our Stars on June fifth, I felt a need to call everyone I knew and tell them I loved them.

I can't imagine a better film version of this brilliantly honest novel by John Green. The experience of seeing this the night before it's mass release coupled with the live chat with cast and crew afterward was fabulous. I particularly loved that Alton Brown was chosen as the moderator for the chat. What a perfect choice.
