The tomb of the "drags - on" movie

With a storyline convoluted by cheap theatrical devices, impossible scenarios, and poor acting, this film's only saving qualities are the gratuitous action scenes. They even have the cliché evil female accomplice with a pseudo nazi uniform and a scar on her cheek. Jet Li and Isabella Leong save the other boring or inept characterizations and Li doesn't have enough screen time to provide enough punch ("pun" intended) to keep the audience engaged. Maria Bello as Evelyn O'Connell is hard to adjust to after Rachel Weisz's previous portrayals have fixed the character in so many ways. Brendan Frazer plays - surprise! - Brendan Frazer. He's supposed to be playing a father in his early fifties, based upon the age of his son Alex - played well by Luke Ford, but he still acts the part as a twenty something smart mouthed rebel who neither shows fatherly nor spousal emotion in this retread of every character Brendon has done. See it for the action scenes - but beware of the drag-on!

Disappointing

The movie had lots of action, but an hour into it I was still waiting for the main story to unfold. We left early.

That was the worst movie that we have ever seen in our lives, I honestly don't see how u can charge people to see that movie there was no plot the movie was just stupid the actors were bad and it never made since. In other words we were disappointed in the movie because the previews for it looked so good and then it was just horrible

Good movie!

I never saw the other Mummy movies but I liked this one. Good story, easy to follow. I thought it was funny and entertaining. My 10 year old also really enjoyed this movie. See this movie on the big screeen it is worth the money!!

great guy movie just to go and enjoy. It's a fantasy like Harry Potter but with Brandon Fraiser and his grown up son. His son's character reminded us of Brandon Fraiser's character in the first Mummy movie.

DISAPPOINTMENT!

So, I'm a fan of the Mummy movies. They give me that "Indiana Jones" feeling of adventure, romance, cheesy comedy, and overall entertainment. I was excited about the story of this new Mummy, but it failed to deliver. The first mistake was replacing Evie's character with a new person who was unable to convince us that she was A. Evie and B. English (her accent was inconsistent).

It was cheesy, kind of dull at times and just didn't feel like a Mummy movie.

SUPER MUMMY!

This movie was very good with intense sequences of action and brief humor.The emperor is very cool and real looking.I love the part where he coughs up clay.

The Mummy 3

It's watchable, but there are places where no one seems to be having fun making the movie. It's more "Let's get it done." It leans heavily on the Indiana Jones movies, but what the hey, if you're going to emulate, do it from the best. The sets were amazing and the CGI fantastic. Brendan Fraiser is always watchable, but I wanted Rachel back for Evvie.

It was a fun flick, though it seemed more dark (more family issues) than the the other two mummy movies but still a good movie. The animation of the Yetis was very good.

Wow!!!!!

Though I miss Rachel Weiss as Evie, this was a great movie. The action was tremendous, the plot moved seamlessly and the characters were true to their previous incarnations. Brendon Fraser was better than the first time he played this character!

It was a really good movie its onr that i would tell my friends to watch the only thing is the women that plays Evenly wasnt Rachel Weis i really liked her in the other mummy movies... but other than that i would buy the movie when it comes out..Loved the snowmen i want one as a pet hehehe.. GO SEE THE MOVIE IF YOU HAVENT.........
