Heroic and Poignant

Rarely can a movie come close to encapsulating the sheer scope of the Nazi's diabolical plans for planet earth and all of humanity. Seeing the thousands of artifacts and HOW MUCH Hitler stole was unbelievable...I felt a stillness come over the theater when the men stepped onto the beach at Normandy. And I've never had a theater full of people applaud at the end of a movie. Our theater was filled with people over 60. My son (12) was the youngest person there. But I told him that some of the people sitting around us remember these events because it happened to their loved ones and some changed their lives forever. It is a special movie.

Excellent movie. Based on a true story, it was very informative about history during WW II. Since most of our students today aren't very familiar with World War II, it would be a good history study.

Good acting jobs all around. The story was engaging. The only quibble was that the dramatic tension was a little lacking. That may be a factor of the original story material though. All-in-all go and enjoy it. I did

Nope, didn't like it. LOVED it! There was understated humor and horror, bringing surprised gasps and chuckles from the audience. I had no idea it was based on a true story. This is one I'll want to own.
