Great until there was no audio during the finale!

It was great till something interfered with the satellite transmission IN THE LAST 10 MINUTES! So we watched the finale, and encores in total silence. I don't know if this happened in all theaters or just ours. Jonas Kaufmann was masterful as was Sophie Koch.

"Werter's" lost, last seven minutes

Loved the opera until audio breakdown at critical end. Does Fandango have any response to those of us who spent $25 or more to go home disappointed? At least the Met is running the last few minutes online.

Jonas Kaufmann is incredible as Werther . I'm so grateful to the Metropolitan Opera for making these Live in HD performances available and to AMC movie theaters for showing them.

It was one of the very best HD transmissions from the Metropolitan Opera. The singing, acting, scenery, and costumes were first-class and so was the orchestra. This is a "Must Go."

The opera was well sung, well directed, but in the last 10 minutes of the intense finale the sound went dead. The picture was still playing, but with no sound. This is unthinkable to present an opera with no sound at the end. The emotional climax was nonexistent. Having paid $44.00 for two tickets left me questioning my decision to attend further performances.
