Sad but so well done . All voices were exceptioal. The end was bad as we lost sound. I am sure it was from Met' but it was not a good thing. even though the rest of the Opera was well broadcasted.the Opera itself was very good. We knew the Opera so we expected the sad ending.

TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, as the sound was lost during the last few minutes and the climax of the opera and was not restored until after it was over. I attended the transmission at the Regal Theater on Lincoln Road in Miami Beach, so don't know if any other theaters had the same problem.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Opera. However, it is unacceptable that we missed the last areas of the opera as there was no sound. Whoever should have been at the control was obviously absent. I demand a refund.

The three of us enjoyed the Metropolitan Opera simulcast of Werther very much, but all of a sudden there was no sound toward the very dramatic end of the opera. This truly ruined our experience. Others in the audience said that this had happened before and is not acceptable. My past experience in NYC has always been satisfactory. I would like to receive 3 replacement tickets for one of the Encore performances in NYC so we can experience the dramatic ending of the opera. Sincerely, Peter K. Schulze

So happy we saw Werther which was not on our Met subscription. It was a memorable experience. Unfortunately transmission was lost in the final 15 mins. Will try to see the encore. Go, go, go!
