A thrilling, intense, passionate performance by exquisite singers, all of them. Sets, orchestra, conductor --- there is just nothing to be critical of. A unique and moving experience. The informative and entertaining explanations and interviews during intermission are an added bonus. We are so fortunate that we can see these performances in our area.

One of my favorite operas done with great artistry . The voices and staging were first rate. My only quibble is the final shot of Tosca's plunge was late and abbreviated. Otherwise a pure joy.

It was exciting and exhillarating to watch this performance! And even more so to see the back stage interviews and the changing of scenery. If I had any criticism, it would only be the stunt double who fell from the parapet. She needs to be less obvious...but that is so minor. Stunning performances and Scarpia was as villaneous as any villian ive seen.
