Wonderful!

It's simply fantastic that the Metropolitan Opera is having live-streaming all over the USA and other places in the world. It offers people a more casual and inexpensive way to appreciate this art form. I also think the back stage views and live interviews are certainly not something one would get a chance to see paying normal admission to the opera house! I think this kind of live streaming in movie theaters is an excellent way to spread fine arts and I hope to see it more and more! What about live streaming of symphony orchestras or,ballet. Thank you so much! It would have been nice to have had an open refreshment stand right outside our theater. for some reason ours was closed.

This was my first Met simulcast production and what a performance it was! Renee was simply amazing! Rather than be irritated by all of the side features, I found them fairly interesting and worthwhile so that was nice, especially the Martha Stewart cocktail! The sound and picture quality were very good and the price was quite a bit cheaper than attending the New York performance in-person. I highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys opera.

Metropolitan Opera Gala Opening

This live HD performance from the Met was absolutely magnificent. Obviously Renee Fleming and the entire cast put on an electrifying performance. The technology was unfailing and the sound within the theater could not have been bested at Lincoln Center itself.

Metropolitan Opera Gala

Wonderful performances but volume unbearably loud. Even after we requested that it be lowered, it was still deafening. Too much commentary at beginning -- 45 minutes before performance began -- and it was inane and a real waste of time -- an extra 45 minutes of sitting, which we didn't need given the length of the program plus intermissions.
