L'Elisir d'Amore was excellent, especially unigue was the backstage interview and the closeups of the singers faces.. Theorchestra was sincronized, the tenor was terrific and Anna was in perfectform.

Fantastic opera yesterday! Singing, acting, sets, costumes, a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon and a great way to start the Live in HD season. This show was outstanding.

If you love opera, this is a must see. The cast is superlative and the HD makes it so enjoyable, I can't wait to see the next one. Way better than going to the MET, and so much cheaper. This is especially important when they show their "new" productions because most of them are terrible and ruin the feel of the opera. This production was fine, however.

OUTSTANDING PRODUCTION!! If you are an opera fan, this is a "must see". The Met's new production is simply wonderful. What else could we expect from the Metropolitan Opera?? Matthew Polenzani's tender rendition of Una furtiva lagrima will rival Pavorotti's in its sensitivity. It is a good beginning opera to see for those unfamiliar with opera and for childlren as well. It is a comic opera; lots of fun.
