As usual this Met HDTV simulcast was impressive. Most of the singers were wonderful, especilly the women. The tenor was good but not quite up to teir standard but he was believable as Tito.

Although the costumes where a strange missmash of styles and periods, the singing and the voices were more than glorious, simply divine. Plus, I just adore Mozart

A great production and a wonderful cast

Elina Garancha was absolutely spectacular. Kate Lindsay was excellent also. Giuseppe Filianotti was in excellent voice, and absolutely nailed the characterization of Tito. The sets were very well done, and the costumes convincing. The Met Orchestra under Harry Bickett showed again why they're the best opera orchestra on earth. What's not to like?

Wonderful cast, wonderful chorus. If you love Mozart, go! If you love opera, go! If you don't, ..... you might want to try it. The music is beautiful and the singing is awesome.

Tito HD Performance

Truly outstanding performance, the cast was superb. Ellina Garanca & Barbara Frittoli do a fantastic job as Sesto & Vitellia both as singers & as actors. My only complaint is that Garanca is too beautiful to play a convincing trouser role.
