Fantastic, loved every moment. Elina Garanca great as Sesto, she can sing and act and is beautiful and young. Rest of cast also very good. I love Opera and can't wait fore the next HD performance, tickets at the Met too costly for me.

La Clemenza di Tito

This is one of the Mozart operas that is not performed often and one of the few operas that has a happy ending. It is based in Rome under Tito's rule who was a forgiving man; thus the title of "clemency". The entire cast was excellent and singing supurb. Kate Lindsey is such a superb young performer playing Annio, one of the trouser roles. Elina Garancahe plays the other trouser role as Seto, his (her) friend and she stole the show with her voice and acting. The encore performance or a live performance at the Met are the only options to see this one. Although I read it is being broadcast on Sirius radio on Dec 6.

Great production, really bad sound in theatre

As always, the Met HD broadcasts are superb. Mozart's last opera, La Clemenza di Tito, was performed in a wonderful production broadcast live. However, the sound in the smaller theatre at UA Greenwood Village was set a a very low volume level, and the quality of sound was dreadful. You cannot use the same kind of sound for Met broadcasts that you use for Wreck-It Ralph. If UA Greenwood Village is going to charge $22-24 for these productions, they should invest in a good sound system or use their larger theatre for Met broadcasts, which actually has decent sound. I want my money back. Not for the production, but for the sub-par sound quality. Shame on you, UA Greenwood Village.

The MET delivers an OUTSTANDING "Tito!" Go see it!!!

I was so excited when I found out that the Met was doing Mozart's wonderful, but lesser known and underrated opera, "La Clemenza di Tito." Finally, Mozart fans get what we have been wanting for so long! I knew that before the showing, that this was going to be THE definitive recording of "Tito." It was absolutely wonderful and traditionally staged/costumed and the singers were wonderful in their parts. I really have to give the most props to Barbara Frittoli, who was THE best Vitellia ever!! Her "Non piu di fiori" was the best I have ever heard!!! It was seriously unbelievable. The only bad thing I have to say is that I didn't think that the singer who played Servillia was quite right for the part. She looked too old for Annio and although she is a good singer, I personally think Vitellia should have a sweet sounding voice. Other than that, this production is COMPLETELY amazing and I cannot wait for it to come out on DVD to watch it again!
