I enjoy Renee Fleming's interviews so much more than the gentleman who interviewed for this performance - he wasn't as well prepared or interesting. The theater that we always see the Met Movies moved to another smaller theater and that in itself was fine, but the sound quality was muffled at times, certainly not surround sound and distorted many times - I would not see it at the Westbury Stadium again. I also had to leave the theater and ask them to turn their lights off. The movie itself was decent if you can take the repetitive lines from Rossini - it is a little annoying since 3/4 are the same lines. The performers were mostly wonderful.

I've seen many of the HD presentations of the Met Opera. This time we went to the Warrington Stadium theatre. There was a problem with the lighting & the screen was very DIM. It was difficult to see what was happening on the screen & IMPOSSIBLE to read the subtitles. Many of the patrons complained to the manager, but to no avail. This was the first time I had a bad experience seeing the HD performances of the Met Opera RLAZ130@msn.com
