Really a superb opera performance. Usually I would prefer being at the met but in this case it was extremely interesting seeing the backstage during intermissions.
I was glad to see the men behind the scenes taking a bow so to speak.

I've seen La Boheme many times at the Met. I was interested in seeing this performance because I wanted to see the new singers that were appearing in the title roles. I was not disappointed. Opolais and Grigilo were superb, in voice and in acting. And I never tire of Zefferelli's production, which has been at the Met for about 30 years. It's as good as it gets. If you haven't seen it before, try to catch it on a repeat performance. It's a great opera for first-time opera goers.

Being a lover of the opera, this is the perfect way to see it. You are up close and the best part is, the cost is about 1/4 of what you pay should you go to the Met in New York. Looking forward to more of the Met in HD.
