The Met Opera Live in HD is absolutely wonderful. The grand scale of these productions is a treat to watch. We have truly enjoyed the operas we've seen and particularly La Boheme. With a cast of hundreds in crystal clear high definition, the Met Opera has shown us what it is all about. We will go to the HD opera whenever it is in our theater.

A wonderful rendition of Puccini's, La Boheme, with some great looks into what goes on behind the scenes including the setting of stages and wardrobe changes as well as interviews between acts of the performers. I thought it was spectacular.

I enjoyed it thoroughly!
The entire cast was wonderful.......period!
The entre acte commentator, an opera singer whose name I cannot recall (sadly) was wonderful and knowledgeable!
The between act commentaries, discussions, "lapsed-time" demonstrations of the "Set" preparation.....superb!
This time, I experienced it at the Potomac Yards Theater in Alexandria, Virginia because the tickets at my preferred venue, Mazza Gallerie, Washington, DC, were sold out.
(Alas, the audience was a bit "too southern" for my taste.
I attended alone, and, during the "Pause" and Intermissions, my "seat Neigjbors" were uncommunicative, not responsive and cold.
In the future, I will strive to purchase tickets at my favorite venue in Washington, DC-
proper, where my friends and Neigjbors often attend are more amiable, pleasant and knowledgeable.

The best Boheme I have seen and just about the best overall experience of a Live in HD program in the 7 years I have been attending them. The "substitute" soprano was unbelievably fresh given the rigors of her historic weekend. See the encore - you will not be disappointed.

Absolutely the most wonderful HD opera that I've seen this year. Vittorio Grigolo and his love, Mimi, were superb. Their voices & their arias will live in my memory for years.
