Aida Encore II at Bella Terra Theater in H.B.

The Opera was great, but the theater's presentation of it lacked quality. The first Act had the sound and motion out of synch. After customer complaints the other Acts were corrected for synch. At $20 a pop I'd expect the have a bit more attention paid by management to such details

It gives opera fans a chance to see their favorites without having to go to New York and without spending a fortune for tickets. Keep it going

Turandot and Aida Operas

Aida was absolutely stunning. No reservations. This performance put the Grand in grand opera. The Turandot performance experience was very different. Turandot was marred by multiple problems in the transmission. They absolutely ruined my mood and thus my ability to enjoy the performance. In addition , neither the theater management nor the New York broadcasting side so much as acknowledged the difficulties or even try to make an apology. I am very upset with those in the process. The Metropolitan and Regal should offer a re-broadcast of the opera to those who sat through this terrible ordeal. Anthony Bonavico 6647 Glen Arbor Way Naples, Fl 34119 abonavico@comcast.net

Sometimes voices were lost. sometimes actor sung like lip-sync. I knew this movie was direct broadcasted, but too terrible.
