AIDA

Sound too low -- could not hear strings or soft playing of orchestra. The production was very good, but the voices lacked drama -- too stoic and little emotion. Quite frankly, the singers bored me. They need theatrical training.

Great performance. Amazing to see the backstage during the intermissions. Always a sellout at this theater. I recommend to show on another screen

The sound quality of the movie was horrible. There was definitely something wrong, either with the theater's sound system, or the transmission of the sound from the opera itself. The theater manager was appropriately apologetic and claimed that he was doing all he could to fix the problem, but to no avail. My question is, how can I get my money back? Several patrons left in the middle of the performance because of the sound problem, and everyone I spoke with at the theater complained as well. I saw the movie at Regal Solomon Pond Mall Stadium 15 in Marlborough, MA on 11/11/2009. I would love to get my money back. Based on this experience, I am very doubtful I would ever attend another Fandango event, nor will I recommend the MetOpera movies to my friends. It was a most disappointing evening.

The singing and orchestra was excellent, and the grand staging was good. The show was excellent, although the close-ups of the principal singers was intended for the huge opera house and was abit too much
