Sound too low -- could not hear strings or soft playing of orchestra. The production was very good, but the voices lacked drama -- too stoic and little emotion. Quite frankly, the singers bored me. They need theatrical training.

THe production itself is fantastic. But when it goes to movie, it looses all the powerful, dramatic sound and stage effect. The sound system can be much improved. It sounds like 1 dimention from the front and has no surrounding sound and 3-D effects.

This peice was done very nicely! They did a fantastic job of making the audience feel as if they were really at the Met Opera in New York. The filming crew made the viewer feel as if they had seats that were beyond the front row. During the intermissions there were interviews with the cast members, which gave great insight to the story line! I would reccomend this to anyone who loves classic romantic story lines!

Singing was superb. The acting was stiff and ponderous. I loved the dancers---the only energetic moment in the whole production.
