Seems to be a 100 cycle filter - no bass.

Great, a much better value than going to the Met live. We especially liked the behind the scenes interviews.

    Aida

The movie iitself ie cinematography was excellent and Met production (sets etc ) was excellent.
The 3 leads were not up to Met standards. Voices of the male ;lead was shrill and not well modulated and at times flat - particularly the high notes. Aida was not well modulated and both high and low notes were often off key. Amnaris was grim and often rough notes (she had played this role 250 times and it was frayed). They also were much, much overweight. The secondary singers were on the whole much better than the leads. I was disappointed.

This was an exceptional production of the Opera! The staging was fantastic. Violeta Urmana sang beautiful, Johan Botha was a little stiff in his acting, his voice however was great. Loved the whole production! E. Eichert
