Terrible, completely predictable, and just plain dumb. What's with Quentin Tarantino? His movies are either really great or really suck and you never know which your going to get until you see it.

Well, I should have known there will be lots of blood, but boy howdy, was there a lot of blood. It is almost as if the production team was getting a kick out of trying to see how high they can make the red fluid squirt.
Other than that it was a fine movie, great outfits, actors and choreography.

I'm not sure if I just missed a prequel, but there were just some unanswered questions about the characters (and their physiology) where the details were just glossed over or the dialogue was just not loud enough for me to understand. I'd have loved for them to take an extra minute out of the bloodshed to help me understand how the characters got to where they are.
The action sequences were great, and thankfully enough humor was added where I wasn't overwhelmed or grossed out (this is not my favorite genre). Overall, I had a good night out with my husband watching this movie, but I don't think its one that I'd care to re-watch or take home.

There are three reasons why this movie sucks
1. RZA can't act
I am a huge fan of RZA and the Wu Tang Clan. I loved him in Californiacation. However, in Californiacation he played a role that was similar to his persona. However, The Man with Iron Fists, he plays a completely new role. I am unsure what his role was. He was at times (I am guessing) a hard tough guy, but at times a weak and helpless man. I felt like I was watching a kid in a high school play looking over his shoulders at his high school teacher to see what his next line was. RZA should be RZA, nobody else because he cannot act like anyone else.
2. Horrible Script and Director
RZA helped in writing this script and directed this movie. How he managed to make an A-List cast look like co-high school students in a high school play, beats me. But HE DID THAT! At time'sI squirmed because it was uncomfortable watching them.
3. The Movie is Unentertaining
This was the first time I watched a kung fu movie and wished I didn't.

Rza should stay behind the scenes. He's acting didn't even seem like an act. More like glorify me cause i made this movie, so i'm going to be in it straight face and all.
Rza was emotionless.
He was the man character but i didn't get that.
I fell asleep at the beginning.
I give Rza a A+ for making this movie happen.
I just think the storyline wasn't strong enough.
Rza always look like he was pouting.
Rza was Nothing dramatical about any losts.
It was kind of like he was too cool to act in front of the camera or too gangsta to be acting.
Movie would've been a hell of a lot better with someone besides Rza acting.
So when you see Rza you just think about him as a music producer and rapper not as an actor.
The hip hop music was cool but it didn't fit the movie.
They were in Asia somewhere.
Movie should've aired on MTV.
He would've had better success with it.
I bought tickets to support Rza and his attempt to do something big.
