I enjoyed Rob's latest,I feel he has had this movie in him since House of a 1000 corpses and he waited for his leading lady on and off screen to be ready.Good call cause Sheri Moon does a great job with the role of Heidi Hawthorne,Those acting lessons paid off.Is she crazy? (we know she's not) The movie is about a centuries old curse placed on the women of Salem...I enjoyed the back story and set up.One of the joys of this movie is the supporting cast that's a who's who of 60"s and 70's movies. From a motherly JudyGeeson (To sir, with love) Dee Wallace (The Howling) Patricia Quinn (Rocky Horrors Magenta) and an almost unrecognizable Meg Foster (They Live) Great female roles as well as Bruce Davidson as author Francis Matthias and the excellent Jeff daniel phillips as co- host,friend/love interest to Heidi...Zombie's use of music is effective as usual whether it's The Velvet Underground, or the pulsating score by John 5 and Griffin Boice...The finale is very 70's,British and trippy

Rob Zombies worst.... a movie that after 10 min, wanted my money back, no plot, just a stack of short films, that made no sense, were gross, ugly . No script, looked like written by a 10 year old. Actors, read telepromters, Anyone could have acted in this movie by reading the lines. What a waste of money.. Stayed to the end, but thankfully the theatre did the right thing and gave me both my ticket money back, and my snack food money. This guy must have had a terrible childhood, wants to punish all Christians, protray the devil as a 3 foot plastic doll, and I am so sorry for the actors. Hope they were paid up front, cause this movie will be quickly on its way to dvd, and then no sales and out the door.. Not appealing to any gender or age group. This movie is NOT for anyone under the age of 25, and me being older,, say it was NOT ANY good for any older generation. Grab your gutter book of words, and they will be saying them on the screen

I usually like movies from Rob, but this was a big let down. Crappy uninspired acting, poor sound during the ranting and ravings, a plot that jumps around all over the place, and some issues just plain gross!. This was the very first movie EVER I got up and walked out on. I won't even bother watching the end when it hits ON DEMAND (if it ever does!) See something else with your hard earned money.

i went in so excited to give rob zombie another chance with a movie that hits very close to home (i live 10 minutes away from where they filmed this). It was confusing jumbled up Bull. It jumped from around and had unnecessary nudity, including a beginning scene where old women and fat unnatractive women stripped down to do a satanic ritual. Then again towards the end. With a stupid ending and an unsettling theme of satanism and addcition. OVERALL PLEZ SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DONT SEE THIS!
