Don't believe the bad reviews, this movie is excellent. Violence is not graphic but real has real impact. Story well told and last 20 minutes perhaps one of the best action sequences of all time!

I loved this movie because of the humor in it. They took some semi-historical data and the basis of a very successful cowboys and indians TV franchise and turned it into a truly entertaining show.
This movie gets into explaining the background for the partnership between these two implausible partners, who have one thing in common: their indelible believe in justice.. Add to this a series of incredibly humorous scenes throughout the movie, and you've got a hit.
I think the movie is appropriate for all ages and types of audiences, so long as you're not totally opposed to watching any violence. There are a few gruesome scenes, but nothing compared to the violence you see in most action movies these days.
I particularly enjoyed the particular style that Johnny Depp stamps on the Tonto character, and to my surprise, found Armie Hammer to play his role very appropriately.

Don't listen to critics...this was a great Depp movie! These two actors made a very good team. We were surprised at how much we enjoyed the movie, since ALL the critics were dumping on it, but we have learned NOT to listen to professional critics...they have seen too many movies, and just have to pick apart every performance instead of enjoying the movies. The movie made me laugh, cry, and now I'm using lines from the movie. Go See this Movie, and STOP listening to critics. Nelda B.

You will both enjoy this action-packed adventure. I don't quite understand all the harsh criticism. Yes, I'll admit the movie was a little long, and I wasn't thrilled by the scenes they used to "narrate" the film, but it definitely entertained me. I'm not a huge fan of westerns, so I was happy with the comedic parts. As far as the violence goes, I honestly don't understand the people who say it is too violent. Most PG-13 movies I've seen are much more violent than this one. Avengers, Iron Man, etc. Johnny Depp was amazing, as usual. Armie Hammer was pretty good and deserves more credit than the critics are giving him. I loved the "real" effects as opposed to so many CGI-heavy effects we are used to seeing in the theater. In summary, I really enjoyed it...and I'm a 37-year-old stay-at-home mother of 3 young children! So, take your husbands. ;-)

We laughed from the beginning to the end. Depp as usual was a trip. No this is not a serious western. It is supposed to be comical. We loved it and highly recommend it for good family entertainment. No vulgarity, nudity or gore.
