This movie was a so-so movie nothing to really talk about I wouldn't pay full price for this movie I would wait until it comes to Red Box and get it for $1.28 or something or go to the first showing when it is cheaper.

Reviews were so poor, we almost didn't go to see this film - would have been a big mistake!
We thoroughly enjoyed it from beginning to end. What great entertainment! Johnny Depp was his usual 'outstanding' as Tonto. It had enough of the old TV series blended with a new storyline. We all walked out saying we would see it again when it was available on VOD at home. Really took you back to the way things were when you were a kid watching TV in the 60's. Great film - don't listen to the critics - go see it for yourself!

I must admit, I was hesitant going to see this movie cause I am old school and remember running to the TV to watch the original series...This movie, by far was the best movie I've seen in a long time; maybe in the past 13 years...The reason are because of the accuracy of the historical content of the movie, the explanation of discrimination, the political implications, the showcase of the many levels of relationships between the Earth and man, spirit world and man, man and man/woman, states and countries, and man and himself...I might even go see this movie again...
I was thoroughly entertained and did not get bored at anytime in the movie...I have fallen in love with Johnny Depp again in this movie....I loved the way it begin...I laughed, cried and got angry in this movie...I liked the idea of making people think of the difference between good and evil and deceptions...And that things are not always what they seem to be...GOOD MOVIE!!!!

I had read many reviews before going to the Lone Ranger. Most were not very good. My husband especially really enjoyed this movie. Remembering watching the Lone Ranger as a kid, this was a nice take on the show. I really enjoy Johnny Depp in his interpretation of Tonto, who is not ignorant but emotionally scarred.

This is not the TV Lone Ranger. This version is played for laughs and it delivers. There are many tense spots with a multitude of bad guys but it is always lightened by humor.
Johnny Depp's Tonto is hilarious. He has some great one-liners and really carries the movie.
Armie Hammer's Ranger is a wimp who finally by the end of the movie gets a backbone. I hope he becomes a little more hardened in the sequel.
All in all I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It is long, violent but oh so funny. Stick around for the credits.
