The Living Edens: Bhutan, The Last Shangri-La, a documentary, transports viewers to Bhutan, home to a small Buddhist kingdom, and a place in which time is said to stand still. Pocketed between Tibet and India, Bhutan is often referred to as the jewel of the Himalayas. To the north of the kingdom, towering peaks climb 25,000 feet. Cold mountain streams slice through gorges, flowing their way down to warm valleys and vast marshes in the heart of the Buddhist settlement.
