This is a fine movie for the under 10 crowd, perhaps, of which there were many in attendance, but it didn't have much to hold the parents' interest. The theme of following your own creativity is meritorious, but many parts of the movie seemed to be an info-mercial for various Lego products. This should not actually be a surprise to anyone, right?

This movie was great me and my kids both loved it. My five year was clapping at multiple points. A must for any parent and lego fan.

The reason why I put in Must GO! is because the movie was very funny and interesting to watch. It is a great movie for lots of ages. I loved all the characters and pictures in the movie like Batman, Emmett, Superman etc. I like the villain in the movie too. I took my friends to see it and they loved the movie and we came out talking about the movie. Most parts of the movie very hilarious. Come and see the movie now before its too late! Fantastic job The LEGO Movie and keep the movie on P.S Hope you make a second one! I hope this was helpful for all of you!!!!!

Fun movie- group of 9 year olds we went with loved it. My son thought it was a little young for him (he's 10) but mom and dad enjoyed it.

I didn't have high expectations for this film, but my Lego loving son (11) was dying to see it, so I bought my popcorn and soda, and settled in for what I assumed would be just another so-so kids' movie (I like kids' movies, but there are a lot of duds). I could NOT have been more wrong. This movies was hilarious. We laughed so hard throughout the entire thing. My husband didn't get to see it, so he took our son back tonight and said he thought it was hilarious too. While it might be lost on kids (consciously at least), it does have a rather good message about finding your own special talent and not being afraid of being different. As they say in the movie: Everything is awesome!
