Cute movie! Great message!

I really enjoyed this movie not only was it funny but I like the message that it tried to convey for kids and adults alike in the sense that it's wrong to consider someone a nobody, and there not important just because they may be different or do things differently than others. I'm glad my kids got to see that because they even said to me "Mommy that was mean what they said about Emmett". I think we all have the ability to be great at something. A must see movie!

Lived up to the Hype

Ever since this movie previewed, both my son (9) and I have been wanting to see it. Needless to say, it was a great flick with constant motion, constant humor, and enough of a story line to keep us engaged. I'll probably end up buying this one as well!

I have a seven year old so I go to pretty much every kids movie that comes out. I expected to be mildly entertained for 90 minutes and then 90 minutes of "Dad, can we go to the Lego store?" I was shocked out how good the story was. I was doubly shocked to actually have my emotions moved. Even the presence of Will Ferrell, whose movies I despise, couldn't ruin it for me. If you have kids, go. If you don't have kids, watch it on Netflix in a few months late at night when no one else is around. Either way you'll enjoy it. BTW - We still ended up going to the Lego store, it is a very long ad after all. Be prepared.

This was a really well made and well thought out movie. My 11 yr old grandson loved and so did I! We laughed and enjoyed the store line. This is a keeper when it comes out on DVD.

I'll admit, I didn't want to see this movie. I only went because of my child. I didn't expect to enjoy it. However, the visual effects of the Legos were quite impressive. I was more intrigued by that than anything else. The movie was funny and had a good story line. It was entertaining for both children and adults without having the "adult" situations or conversations that make most parents cringe while watching it with their children. Batman was my favorite character.
