    pretty good

    this movie has a predictable plot but when it's a rainy or snowy day out theed nothing like watching a few bad a** local cops and arnold trying to kick but and take names protecting their quaint little town from the bad guys.

    Entertaining

    I enjoyed this movie. It had good action and a decent plot. I would it if your looking for an action flick.

    I tried...

    I rarely say "don't go" to a movie. I usually say, "it depends on what you like"...most movies are attractive to someone.

    Not this movie. There are really no redeeming qualities. The persistant reeving of the engine on the "special corvette" as it accelerates down the road is very tiring. There are about 100 of those shots in this movie.

    It's not a movie for gun lovers, its not a movie for crime scene lovers, it's not even a movie for fans of arnold and knoxville...of which, I am both.

    The story is so elementary though, if you have a 3 year old, they may understand it.

    A bit silly

    Going in you knew this was going to be a shoot 'em up unreal collection of odd things. It was what I was in the mood for so off to the theater I went. The bystanders in the town were an amusing piece but frankly it gave the film a quality that may not have worked. Granny shooting the bad guy in the back was fun, could have done without the after commentary. Johnny Knoxville was funny, a bit lame at times but funny. Arnold. was pretty good, it was great fun to see him in a movie again. All in all it was entertaining. Somehow the combination of elements made the whole better than the parts.

    ENTERTAINING MOVIE ALL AROUND!!!

    We all had low expectations going in to see this movie but came out very surprised on the all around great entertainment that we enjoyed. It was very funny, simple and tons of action with a lot of thrilling scenes throughout the movie. I found myself not once looking at the time or feeling any boredom at all. This isn't a thinking mans movie - just a good old fashioned action packed flick with lots of humor and some pretty cool characters. Arnold plays a character that fits his genre perfectly - as does Johnny Knocksville. Take a ride and watch this and you'll agree with me as almost every post here agrees with the fun in this movie.

    Arnold still has a few good movies left in him. This was a good film to go and see. Couldn't wait to see what happened next.
