GARBAGE!!!!!!!!!

I should have know by the title........The Last Exorcism Part TWO. 'Scary movies' nowadays are a waste of time. This movie is ridiculous and NOT scary. Grab one of the classics and call it a night.

The movie was good for the most part, wish it was more scary. Also wish the kids would have attended the 7:45pm and not the 9:45pm movie they were so loud and immature. But the movie was good.

This Should Be The LAST Exorcism Movie!

Where do I start. This movie was TERRIBLE. It was like a bad sleepover thriller and I use that term "thriller" very loosely because it was barely thrilling and not scary at all! I found the most terrifying portions of this film was when they referenced the first movie. This movie does not deserve to be labeled horror or thriller for that matter. I think a more fitting genre would be drama. A demon in love with a human? REALLY? And what was up with that ending? It gave me a flashback to the 70's cult classic Carrie. I do not recommend wasting your time or hard earned money on this travesty of a movie.

Pretty Good Movie

I was pleasantly surprised that this movie was better than I thought it would be. For the most part it was scary, but not over the top. Having a PG-13 rating instead of a R rating made it so it just wasn't a blood bath type of movie. Ashley Bell played the possessed girl, and did a very good acting job. Compared to "A Haunted House" the "Last Exorcism Part II" would win The Academy Award.

Should have been straight to video

The original film was a mostly smart horror movie with a really dumb ending. This sequel basically expands the dumb ending into a whole film. TLE2 follows what happens to the girl who was possessed in the first film as she tries to move on with her life. Ashley Bell gives an impressively committed performance but you can see her struggling to overcome the bad material very much like her character in the film struggles to escape the clutches of the demon that still wants her. In both cases the effort is ultimately futile. This movie is seriously terrible, but not in a so bad it's good way (except for the ending which is pretty amusing). It's just boring and dumb with no scares and very few ideas, good or bad. Bell manages to make you root for her character, but she's the lone bright spot in a movie that never should have gotten a theatrical release in the first place.

Boring, boring, boring and then stupid.
No suspense. No Special effects. No worthwhile dialogue.
No reason to make this movie at all....
They should offer to give back our money.

HORRIBLE rather than HORROR

This movie was probably the all time worst "so-called" horror film that I have ever seen EVER. Started slowed, stupid plot, and ended SUPER ridiculous. Seriously, read this review and save yourself and whoever your going to the movies with some money. It's not worth laying an eye on.

PURE TRASH!!!

I can't believe I fell for this. I was literally falling asleep in the theater. Nothing about the movie was remotely scary. It dragged on and on with NO action. This is the WORST movie since Black Christmas!!! Don't waste your time watching in the theater, on DVD, or on cable.

WTF?

The scariest thing in this movie is its opening scene. PERIOD. This sequel had a lot of promise given how good the first one was, but the writers dropped the ball. First, the contortion effects and the special FX in general are non existent in this movie. Second, the actual exorcism lasts 5 minutes before the group bails. Third, if you decide that the girl is the backstory of the sequel then the movie then you MUST show us a demon. LE2 gets the award for biggest waste of time. I'd rather have seen the killing than blood splatter on windows suggesting she ripped into her victims. Sheeesh!!!

By no means am I a movie critic, but this movie just missed on pretty much everything level. I no real story line, no real plot (or maybe I just missed it). Yes it did have some "Frightening" moments but for the most part...meeeehhh

Painfully Slow - Not Scary - Nonsensical

This could possibly be the worst big screen movie I have ever seen.

The writers, producers, and directors should be hanging their head in total shame.

I'll sum this up, it is a title to get you in a movie seat and separate $10-12 from your wallet.

They put more work into the previews to get your ticket money than they did the entire movie.

PATHETIC - period.

Don't pay to see it at a theatre, don't buy the DVD on sale, don't toss $1.00 into a redbox machine, and honestly, don't waste 90 minutes of your life when it hits cable, do something more productive and entertaining like clip toenails.

The Last Exorcism

It was not as scary as the Part 1 and was no comparison to the very first Exorcism. There was way too much story and not enough scary. I should have made me not want to go to sleep instead I slept like a baby. The writers need to dig in the old movie boxes and find what makes them scared in order to write something that will scare the bajoobies out of people today!1 I should have waited for this to come on cable!!!!!

You have to evaluate this film on your own.

The title is tricky as this film has nothing to do with exorcism, but it's exact opposite; that of conjuring and bringing the demonic into our three-dimensional space time continuum. If you do not have knowledge of demonology, black-magic, Christianity, deliverance ministry, and exorcism ritual proper, then you will be on the outside of the film looking in and saying, "what the heck is this." If your atheist, or a non-believer, or all of the above, then you may be bored to tears.

Conversely, if you are involved in deliverance ministry and spiritual warfare, then this film will help you to understand how humans are a doorway species for demonic entities. If you are a master practitioner of the dark arts, then of course you will love his movie.

Very tricky depending on your knowledge. It is scary all right and you will be clutching your rosary beads and saying silent Hail Mary's so you do not go home with a nasty demon.
