Definitely worth seeing!

I had no idea it was a sub-titled film, but the ads I'd seen for it looked really good. My friend thought it reminded her of the 80's movie "Dying Young" with Julia Roberts as a care taker of this young man that was going through chemotherapy. Hard to describe, but I laughed, cried, tense moments... great feel-good movie!

This is by far one of the best movies you'll see all year. You'll fall in love with both of these men as Sy's character, Drissi, makes you laugh so hard that you'll cry all while warming your heart with the care he provides to "Phillipe". It's unusual to have two men share the screen and compliment each other so well. You'll won't be able to pick who should be nominated for Best Actor and who for Best Supporting Actor given the amazing performances by both. DON'T MISS THIS ONE!

Moves into my top ten best films ever..This film even though it is in French which would turn many off, is worth every second spent on this adventure. Great writing, great character. I laughed so much it hurt..Touching..these are the types of films that should be made here in the States, but no one is making them..I would see it again and again..Smart..Congrats to the filmmakers a real winner, Oscar for best foreign film for sure...if not best film!!!!

Very funny, unusual movie

Extremely funny movie about how two disparate people end up helping each other. Only criticism I have is that the background of Driss, the companion and aide, could have been fleshed out some more. Otherwise, it's a wonderful film about how the spirit can overcome any disability, whether social or physical.

Warm, Lighthearted and Absolutely Hilarious In Places.

Looking for a warm, fun and thoroughly entertaining movie? This is it. The only catch, and it's a minor one, is that the dialog is in French with English subtitles. But don't let that stop you. Where this film's concerned, reading subtitles is minor and nearly unimportant. You will laugh out loud and if you're not touched by these performances there's something very wrong with you. You simply can't go wrong here. See this movie. It's worth every cent of today's overly inflated ticket prices. You definitely won't be disappointed.
