This movie was exactly what I expected - sweet, silly, and worth a few hours on a Saturday afternoon when it was freezing outside. I like stories about people that get selfish, get humbled, and get back on their feet. It's something I can identify with and a theme that we all need reminding of once in awhile. I also liked the idea of reconnecting with the thing that caused you to be passionate about whatever it is that you were once passionate about. Again, something we all need reminding of. The main characters fall out and rediscover their friendship again defeating the bad guy and discover that teams are stronger than individuals. That's a positive message in an America filled with soulless individualism and materialism. If you've got time to kill and need a laugh, then go see this movie. If you don't, then wait for it online, you won't kick yourself.

Withour Alan Arkin, this movie would have been a bust. Jim Carrey was absolutely pitiful and sado-masochistic in his role...nothing funny there. Steve Carell was amusing as well as Buscemi, but the movie grew tiresome, although there were a few genuine moments of pleasure when Carell was entertaining young children at a birthday party, and the opening sequence was promising...Overall, I give the movie **1/2 stars only because of Arkin and his comedic presence and lifting up a dreary script.

It must have cost a lot to get these big-name stars, but the script writing and plot are horrible. I think I may have laughed once during the entire movie. It was difficult to stay awake all the way through it. It was really pathetic.

Hi everybody! I am Julian and today I will talk about The Incredible Burt Wonderstone. If you are at all a fan of Steve Carell, Jim Carrey or Steve Buscemi, it's an OK movie. It has it's moments and when these moments are on, you're sure to laugh! But sadly, there aren't enough of these moments to make you "Laugh out loud through the whole flick." But the actor that really got my smile was Steve Buscemi. He was just too funny and he proves in this movie he doesn't have to talk to make you laugh.
Did I like it? Yes! Was it hilarious? Mostly!
I give Wonderstone a good 'ole 4 stars/5 stars

All I can say is that I can't remember the last time I constantly laughed out loud through an entire movie. This movie was incredibly funny at the same time it was touching and actually had a moral...And how can you not love a movie that has Steve Carell, jim Carey, Steve Buscemi, Olivia Wilde and Alan Arkin!?!?!Totally engaging from beginning to end!!
