A pair of aspiring rap stars finds that dreams can come true -- only at a higher price than they ever anticipated -- in this hip-hop comedy featuring appearances by former Yo! MTV Raps hosts Ed Lover and Doctor Dre. Tre-Dog (Drew Frasier) and C-Note (Markee Adams) know they have the skills to become the hottest rap artists on the L.A. scene, but to play with the big boys you need more than tight rhymes -- you need money and connections. When a bogus record label offers to sign Tre-Dog and C-Note if only they can come up with their own promotion money -- the pair scheme to swindle 20,000 dollars from one of L.A.'s most notorious drug dealers.
