2 hour battle scene

High frame rate makes the hand to hand battle scenes look very jumpy which is the opposite of what it is suppose to do. There is 10 min. of Smaug and 20 min of Dwarf angst and nearly two hours of fight scenes. If that is what you want, and it is named the battle of the 5 armies so I guess it is what we should expect, this is for you. But how many orc decapitations do we need? Weakest of the 6 movies.

It's really hoping for a great close to the trilogy and while I haven't read the books, I expected better. The whole movie aside from The early Sauron scene, was underwhelming. The humans in battle wouldn't have lasted 5 minutes against the amount and the strength of the Orc army. The war was a joke. Such build up and yet we are supposed to believe that 13 dwarves turned the tide against thousands

The Hobbit: Battle of Five Armies

This movie was AMAZING! The cinematography was astounding, along with the scenery and the acting. From the moment when the first scene started rolling to the last credit disappeared, I was at the edge of my seat. Action, romance, suspense, this movie had it all! The only thing that took away from this movie was that it was loosely based on the book. I would definitely recommend seeing this movie!

Love and Hate Situation

I saw the movie yesterday and I found myself in a love and hate situation. I thought the movie was missing suspense. It had alot of scenes that had nothing to do with the story and in some scenes they used alot of cheesy lines. I had a difficult experience with the ending. It wasn't the dramatic ending we all expected and are used too, in other words the ending was too soft. What I did like was the epic battle scenes that lived up to its title and the special effects and visual effects were amazing. I love the fact that even though the Elves Men and Dwarves fought together they never bonded, the hate between them remained. The only difference was they respected each other a little more. This helps me understand now why in the lord of the rings it was so difficult for the people of middle earth to united and fight Sauron. In the end I give it 3 stars out of 5 I would recommend kids to watch it only if they are with there parents or guardians only because the Orcs look freakishly scary
