To derivative of LOTR

The LOTR films were to right, correct tone and feel. The Hobbit should have been much lighter in feel. It felt like the Hobbit is just a continuation of LOTR, to the point that it felt like they used the same shots for the film. To long and to dark for what it should have been.

The Hobbit

This is exactly what I wanted to see when they turned The Hobbit into a movie -- I didn't know it at the time, but I know it now. The casting was perfect. I had no problem at all with the inserted scenes -- it gave me more of Middle-Earth and I could have sat there for another hour and not minded.

I was highly impressed with the film rendition of The Hobbit. It began a little slow and cheesy for me, but then immediately picked up and became amazing!! Loved Shmegal, even more than before. I have no qualms with recommending it to everyone as a must see. I plan and seeing it many more times and purchasing it asap!

This was my second time seeing the Hobbit:AUJ. First time I saw it was in 3-D awesome, this past time I saw it was regular, and I will see it again. I have seen all the Hobbit movies and I am there biggest fan!

This movie was definitely a good one - the acting, script, costumes, sets, digital art, and make-up were all superb. The few changes they made to the original plot were interesting, added to the drama, and kept me interested for the entire 3 hours! I will definitely see it again before it leaves theaters.
