    these production people do such an excellent work ! it was seamless in going from a future work to a previous time - the ethereal qualities and the soaring imaginative scenes reflect so well the Hobbit - my daughter & I truly enjoyed this escape in time - this has become a new Christmas tradition for us to see

    It was visually stunning with the digital effects overlaid on stunning New Zealand scenery produce a great fantasy escape.

    Worth seeing in IMAX 3D!

    The cinematography was amazing and the storyline was great!!! I read the book a couple times years ago and they do a good job at trying to keep every detail and more!!! This is a movie that soars with the rest of the LOTR series for what you would expect. Even avid book readers like this movie!!!
