The Hoax

This movie was a pleasant surprise in a sea of uninspiring spring films. Richard Gere and Albert Molina did a great job of portraying two reckless writers. I would endorse this film and recommend it to anyone who is looking for an entertaining trip to the movies.

Movie had you thinking all the way, with just enough of a twist that made you think this was fiction and not a true story. Was enjoyable to watch.

This was a very entertaining movie. Richard Gere was terrific in his role, as was Alfred Molina. There were many unexpected comic moments that lightened the material. I highly recommend The Hoax.

Excellent acting by Richard Gere, the suspence and the going in and out of reality really keeps you on the edge of your seat. I found the movie very entertaining.

A Cut Above the Din of Usual Hollywood Fare

This movie has a fascinating historical basis, but above all it is a movie about 'lies, and the lying liars who tell them' (to borrow a phrase from Al Franken). Richard Gere gives a great performance in a role that really seems to suit his personality. I wouldn't say this was the greatest film ever, but it is definitely worth seeing (unlike 90% of the other doo-doo offered to movie-goers).
