Very funny movie! The first time that I laughed because of a movie in along time.
The plot was thin and not realy plauseable, but, everything worked well. The casting and
dialog was excellent. Melissa McCarthy & Sanda Bullock worked so well together. They
were as good as Arnold & Danny DeVito in "Twins". I would love to see them together
again, but, not in a sequell.
Living most of my life in the Greater Boston area, everyone nailed the accent, especially
Southie.(Also most of the F-words!)

VERY FUNNY movie. I loved it. A double bonus for me because Sandra Bullock is in it and I love her and her movies. The two really work well with each other. I will see this one a couple more times before it leaves the theaters.

This movie has been such a long time coming...a funny, quality action comedy about two women investigators (one FBI, one cop) with opposite personalities. For those of us previously stuck with identifying with the men in movies like 2 Guns (the women being way too lame), this one is so much fun. It's also a movie that any woman who has read "Lean In" or worked in a male-dominated profession can appreciate: in it's own way it's realistic. By example: when would a man's uber-competence at a job (or arrogance about it) be considered a detriment? (The boss: "I've heard reports of arrogance.") And why would men think that there aren't other men somewhere who find confidence and competence attractive? ("Hard to believe she's single.") All that said, if cursing upsets you from a woman you may have to take a pass.

While those with sensitive ears to potty mouth might beware - this movie was refreshing, hilarious and irreverent. I enjoyed the respite from the heat, and reality.
