The funiest move, by far that I've seen since Planes, Trains, and Automobiles! Talking about the Female version of the Odd Couple.. Mc Carthy and Bullock work off of each other with the timing of Jack Lemon, and Walter Mathau. The entire theater will probably have to see it again, because we were all laughing so loud, we had to have missed the next halarious sequence. The direction was flawlessly timed, which is manditory in a great Comedy.
It's really a shame that Acadamy Awards never give the Best Comedy award to movies that are truely great COMEDY.
My only wish is that these two great actresses get together again for "Re Heat" or Heat 2.

The Heat. Wow, this should be more than just a movie, it should be a television series. Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy, I don't know who thought of that combination but they know what they're doing. These two actress' are great on there own. In this movie, they're kick-ass. I love seeing Bullock playing law enforcement roles, she definitely pulls it off. McCarthy could most likely pair well with anyone. It would love to see a 2nd one come out. I would be hard to top this one, but I'd like to see it happen. If you haven't watched this, you're missing out.

The Heat is a hilarious movie with two dynamic actors - Sandra and Melissa. Not sure which one is funnier. They play off each other in every scene. Wish there would be a Heat - part 2.

So I usually hate movie comedies because they have 1 original funny idea which they play out in the first 10 minutes THEN they spend the next hours re-doing the same funny Schtick until you are fast asleep. This is NOT that kind of movie. The humor was original and it kept coming from right and left field and it hit it out of the park. I do not even believe there was a single "fat joke" because it was not necessary. Melissa McCarthy is so darn funny and put her with Sandra Bullock and OMG! I was expecting Miss Congeniality turned on its head and that ain't what we got. I LOVED it. The audience in our theatre was loving it all and we laughed and laughed.... p.s don't leave the theatre too quickly after it appears "over" ...it isn't...

If you've seen Ms. Congeniality, it is lots like that but with the added hilarity of Melissa McCarthy. The language us rough and not really necessary. The movie is predictable but so funny in some parts that I think it is worth seeing especially if you enjoy a good laugh.
Would not recommend taking your younger children because of the language. The movie is not going to win any awards. It is just a funny movie that you would see purely for entertainment.
