disappointed & offended

I am a big fan of Sandra Bullock and Melissa was unknown to me before this movie. This was a great pairing and the two complimented each other quite well. This movie was a typical hollywood spoof on good cop - bad cop but some scenes were overplayed, unfunny and truly unnecessary, while others were truly comedic and quite hilarious. . Spielberg was right -"Hollywood is imploding." Yes,this was R rated and I expected foul language, and this movie delivered, every other word was "f---". But , to me and this is personal, when Jesus Christ becomes the butt end of jokes, you cross the line. If you are going to disparage do so across the board, don't single out Jesus Christ. Offend every one, muslims, hindus buddists, mormans and atheists. The good points of the movie were overshadowed by the innuendos and blatant disrespect of the Lord Jesus Christ . This may be humorous to some, but it is highly offensive to me and one reason i will not waste my money on movies again,

I love these 2 ladies. So, I will pay to see any of their movies. This one fell slightly short. A little too slap stick. Go any way if you like the actors. I won't watch it 50 times like the other ones Sandra has done.

Definitely the best movie so far this summer. Too hilarious! Lol How the girls act, what they say, it's just too funny! One funny part: Sandra Bullock is hugging a cat. She also has a picture of her & this cat. Well.... Turns out she's just "borrowing" the neighbor's cat. I love this movie. Great summer family friendly movie.

A lot of times I see trailers to movies and after 10 minutes they show all the funny parts so when you actually see the movie there's nothing left to laugh at that you haven't already seen. This movie just keeps the comedy rolling scene after scene. McCarthy is hilarious and with Bullock they make a good team. It's been a loooong time since I sat at a movie and laughed out loud as much as I did with this one. Lots of profanity but no more than you hear at a middle-school now a days.

Enjoyed it but was surprised to hear Melissa use the language that she did. I think Sandra and Melissa made a good team, hope that will star in other movies together!!
