    I Feel Ripped Off

    OMG this movie is horrible. I generally like any movie, but a movie that is titled 'The Haunting Of' would lead you believe that there is a supernatural suspense aspect in it. This movie did not have that. It is more of a psychological drama that leads nowhere. An invested viewer or a fan of thrillers will notice clues in the movie that lead to expectation, expecting answers to those clues that the movie never answers. According to the script, there is no real reason for the urgency of the parents in killing their daughters before their 18th birthdays. The ending is extremely anti-climactic and doesn't make a lot of sense. Maybe I missed the point, but there is no big truth or secret revealed. The only saving graces this movie had was decent acting, for the most part, and creative camera angles. Phantasm III was a better movie.

    Great build-up....

    I'll admit it, I had higher hopes this movie going in as the previews looked pretty good. Grant it, the movie story itself did have a good build-up, and the action scenes and other creepiness definitely had you cringing at the right points, but the ending was SO much of a let down! I mean, yes, I would give this a "SO-SO" rating because it is enjoyable, just don't go in expecting much from the conclusion. It builds and builds and then just fizzles out. They could probably do a sequel with the way it was left, but it would almost have to be an entirely free standing movie on its own since the story would not really relate.

    Well although the whole time I was trying to watch the movie all I could hear were my guy friends talking and laughing about absurd things that happened. I actually enjoyed it. It's not heart stopping scary but not totally pathetic. The story line is well written and in a good sequence its not predictable which is always a plus. And the main guy actor is amazingly hot. (: All in all I say go. Whats to lose?

    I have lost all hope for some people!

    How in the world can anyone say this was a good movie? It was not scary! It was not funny! It simply was not! To be fair It did show promise but that was quickly thrown out the window....sorry it was f****ing hurled out of the window! I still cant believe that there are people that said this was a good movie! The ending made zero sense.....i wanted to eat my f****ing dvd player and stab myself for watching this POS! Cmon people this movie blows......and not even close to the good way!

    This movie made no sense at all......iw ould not put this in the category of Horror...there was exactly 5 parts of terror and they werent even that scare....i was so dissapointed....i would most definitly not recommend this to anyone looking for a good thrilling movie.
