The fact that Barbara Streisand and Seth Rogen play in a movie and there not be some sort of Jewish guilt going is beyond me. There were some funny parts but not as funny as id wished. Waiting for Seth to get nother knocked up knock out.

How to describe this movie...? Slow, not funny, extremely predictable and really boring. I wouldn't go to the theater to see it or even wait for the DVD. The only good thing about this movie is the message but the bad storyline don’t help at all. Don’t lose your time, this movie is horrible...

I was really looking forward to this movie. I could see all sorts of possibilities in my mind's eye of this scenario. I was a bit disappointed, though, by the lack of chemistry between Rogen and Streisand. I thought the "forced" nature of it came from Streisand. She was trying too hard to be her as a Jewish mother.
There were several funny parts, and several poignant moments, but, on the whole, it was predictable and a bit boring. Maybe they'll come up w/ a better pairing for the sequel!

This movie is just okay. I went with my 23 year old son and he was very bored. I would rather have waited to see this on DVD than spend the money and time going to the movies. My son's comment "It was a typical romantic comedy, but between a mother and a son". As a mother, I got a little teary at the end. I liked it more than he did.

If you didn't grow up with a nagging, overbearing mother and would like to know what it feels like, see this movie. Otherwise, consider yourself warned that this movie is about a mother who means well, but is unbearable to be around. Well, at least her son knows that and feels sorry enough to take her on an 8-day road trip. There’s really no scene in this movie worth seeing. Even Seth Rogan, usually LOL funny, is pathetic to watch. Skip it entirely.
