The entire cast was wonderful! The movie was romantic, Leonardo was charismatic, the costumes and decor truly set the scenes, and the movie was full of suspense and drama. This is a must go movie.

I enjoyed the movie, but was annoyed that I had to wait in line at the box office to get the 3D glasses. Isn't the whole point of using fandango not to have to wait in line. They should have had a bin of glasses at the entrance.....(UA 6 at Long Beach Marketplace)

The older generation (me) did not care for the deafening sounds, esp. at the beginning of the film. The 3D glasses made many of the scenes a blur. We were disappointed in our expectations of the 20s jazz music. Entertaining, but not great!

I get trying to capture the look and feel of the roaring 20's ...however, too much is too much. Some of it was pretty to look at, while most of it was distracting and took away from the story rather than illuminating it.
DiCaprio was a good old sport, but how does McGuire keep getting these roles?

I was expecting to hate this movie since I walked out on "Moulin Rouge" which had to be the worst movie since "Ishtar". This was the best adaptation of the Great Gatsby story brought to the big screen. The music was a bit weird and the party scenes full of anachronisms, but all in all a decent movie. There were actually a few decent literary moments in the film and overall a good time.
