I went and saw this movie with most of my family and I must say this movie was more than I had expected. The movie was hard to watch because Cindy in the movie is about my sister-n-law and what she kept inside for so long and the fear she felt. I could only imagine what she thinks being so young and being the only survivor from this sick man. My heart goes out to her and all the victims. I am glad she took a stand and put this man where he belongs. We love you Cindy.......your family.....
The cast did an outstanding job. There could not have been a better cast of actors or actress. Thanks for doing your job to get this story out. Way to go, Nicolas Cage, John Cusack and Vanessa Hudgens my hat's off to you.....
I really enjoyed the film, director Scott Walker did an amazing job on this film. Thanks for caring Scott......
Thumbs up from me......

The Frozen Ground gets Two-thumbs Up from me.
Walker has done an excellent job of crafting and assembling this taut, well-paced movie.
Cusack delivers an excellent, tightly-strung performance. Cage's presence is understated and very solid (a welcome return to the stylistic approach reminiscent of Leaving Las Vegas). Hudgens' performance weaves a fabric of credibility - I appreciated her capacity to successfully portray a blend of sadness, intensity and tenderness.
Scott Walker's debut, as both Writer and Director, is impressive. In addition to his elegant approach to creating and building tension, Walker manages to achieve a dramatic experience while clearly preserving a sensitive respect for the victims.

Drug use was too explicit, but it is based on true facts. 1980's I remember the story, but not all the facts.....
