A whole new level of torture
This movie was indeed a forbidden production, in fact it should be outlawed and shown only to really bad incarcerated members of society. Incredibly poor script, stole all major elements from other movie plots, and the honkie actor in this movie (Michael Angarano) was void of any talent..period. I did rather enjoy his wristbands in the movie though and a couple of scenes of him flexing his farmer tan pillsbury doughboy body underneath flowing waterfalls. I haven't laughed that loud in a while. It was shameful that the movie didn't just try to be an all out slapstick comedy, as it was so dangerously close anyways without even trying....In the end, I was cheering passionately for the bad guys to win because Chan, Li, and gang were so very awful in this movie but alas, I went home empty handed and disgusted.

A definite must see.
This movie has the air of those old fashion butt kicking martial arts movies. I loved it. It wasn't bloody and it wasn't overdone with special effects. I enjoyably sat through the whole movie, knowing I will probably watch it again or buy the video for my collection.
I recommend it!

Kung Fu fabulous
I loved this movie....Jackie Chan and Jet Li were awesome. The fights were great. The story line was heroic. i normally dont like when non-asian people play in kung fu movies....it kinda takes away the realism...but with this movie i was not turned off at all. The Sci-fi aspect of the movie was not corny at all....love it must see and will definitely buy it!!!

Not Great...but Not Bad either, a little change of pace
I actually liked this movie, it was a bit of a change of pace from the usual martial arts film, with the whole dream sequence aspect, but it wasn't that bad. My son had wanted to see it and although I was a bit reluctant at first, I ended up enjoying it. Nothing too heavy-duty for my 10-year old to watch...a nice time was had by all.

The Forbidden Kingdom
This movie was really good. I would have preferred another lead boy but the story was good and the action was really good! I really like Jet Li and his movie choices lately.
