In his fourth Western for Columbia Pictures, Tim McCoy played a lawman chasing a masked villain known only as "the Shadow." The would-be express office robber proves to be Grip Mason (Robert Ellis), who mistakenly blames Tim for his brother's death. There is a treacherous saloon femme fatale (Dorothy Granger of two-reel comedy fame), a comic sidekick (Harry Todd), and the inevitable ingénue. The latter was played by Marceline Day, a 1926 WAMPAS Baby Star best remembered today as Buster Keaton's girl in The Cameraman (1928).
