Good light entertainment

This is not a movie I would normally pick to see. But went with a friend, and we definitely got a few laughs out of it. Probably best to wait for this on DVD or Netflix is my opinion. I didn't hate it by any means, but I tend to look for something either in the acting, or the story that brings along something deeper ... and this movie naturally is not trying to be either. Good fun of course, but really pretty lame.

The Family - disapointed

The movie really wanders around from being sort of a fun comedy to mob massacre. The opening credits list 5 different production companies involved with the film. I think each one got to write their share of the scrip. There is really no story here or continuity. Too bad the fine actors In this really wasted their time and talents, maybe they just need a payday

Great cast, lousy movie

I thought this was going to be more of a comedy with this cast, but it was extremely violent, boring and kind of like "Analyze This" gone bad. Waste of money.

Love the cast. Love the Director. I expect the very best from them all which makes me a hard critic. This movie tries to be a comedy and serious. I think it missed it's mark their for me. They set it up for a sequel at the end. I would go to see any movie with this cast no matter what. Loved the score at the end witch is normal for this great Director.

Liked it

Fun movie. I liked the Mafia theme. Robert De Niro was ideal as the mafia rat, and Michelle Pfifer fit right in as Maggie. Not sure about the Agron gal from Glee being a gangster - a little pretty for such a rough role. But I would see it again.
