    The Doorman

    Viewed this movie to get out the heat last Sunday and was pleasantly surprised at just how good it was. Not only was it enjoyable to watch, but thinking about what was on the screen after it was over made me realize just how creative this mockumentary is. The actiing of the dorrman - Trevor W is superb. The insight of just how ludicrous the club nightlife is is truly amazing. It is my understanding that this was the first work of the director, Wayne Price, and if this is any indication of the creativity of this man, he is someone to watch. This work is not the run of the mill movie. It is a MUST SEE.

    good concept

    Great movie! if you know the NY club scene, this is definitely the movie to go see!

    Offbeat humor With Pathos

    It's an interesting film, good acting, and satrical in a slowly evolving purpose. It is certainly a study in how far an ego can carry us in life and how denial of failure can be so strong as to cover reality for some people. Favorit scenes were the one with Trevor's (lead charcter) mother (actress Letty Serra nails the role) and the Peter Bogdonavitch scene....could have used a few more of these scenes to give the film some variety. I keep thinking about various other scenes and the pure consistency Trevor shows throughout the movie. Hey, it's an art film - enjoy it.
